In the aftermath of October 7th, this family of seven was uprooted from their home in northern Israel. The constant barrage of rockets from Hezbollah made their lives there unsafe.
Now, as their son Ben fights stage 4 cancer, they’ve been uprooted from their temporary home and find themselves without the basic necessities they need to get by.

All funds raised will go to providing the family with the basic necessities they need to furnish their temporary home and give them some respite in their constant struggle to afford groceries and medical bills.
ABOUT THE FAMILY
Ben is your average 21 year old. He lives with his mother, grandmother, and 4 siblings.
He’s been looking forward to truly beginning his adult life.
But cancer and the war changed all that.
Ben was first diagnosed with cancer in 2020 and was in remission until a few weeks before the war. A sudden headache turned into a serious resurfacing of the cancer and just before the war, Ben almost died.
Thanks to an amazing team of doctors, Ben’s life was saved.
Ben is now receiving care in a hospital in central Israel.
Amid the uncertainty of war, Ben’s family begged to be housed near his hospital.
They find themselves alone, without any communal support.
Their ages range from 15-76.

I am a Licensed Social Worker in Israel working for the Welfare Ministry of Israel, responsible for 80 hotels of families who were displaced by the October 7th war in Israel.
